In creating the welcoming archways for America's Most Iconic Street, the primary focus was to have a design that could stand alone, but also be a natural lead for someone's eye while on Beale Street. All the well known neon signs for the bars and restaurants lead up to the archway, which signals to the visitor that they are, in fact, standing in "The Official Home of the Blues".
